As I write this post, SpaceX is preparing to launch is new Falcon Heavy rocket for the very first time. This test launch will carry Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster into space, and hurl it towards Mars. The flight could be the first stepping stone towards sending people to the Red Planet in years to come, and this animated clip gives us a sense of how it will work. The Falcon Heavy is the most powerful rocket ever made, and it could open a new era of space exploration. We are still a long way from touching down on another planet, but this could be the first step towards achieving that goal.

The falcon heavy is the most powerful rocket today. However the Saturn 5 of the Apollo era was considerably more powerful.
