In 1968, a group of four friends that includes the likes of North Face founder Doug Tompkins and Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard traveled to southern Chile on an epic road trip looking for new waves to surf and mountains to climb. Their journey would become the stuff of legend, and would lead to a movement to protect the wild spaces they found there. Now, five decades later photographer Chris Burkard is following in their footsteps, and heβs bring a DJI Mavic Air along to explore the Patagonian wilderness. This video shares his journey and it is an amazing one.
