While this is not an easy field to break into, there are more options than ever to do just that, so Dave and I offer some advise on where to go. But first, we share some adventure news with updates on what is happening in the Himalaya, we chat briefly about the start of the Giro d’Italia, and touch upon some disturbing environmental news. Later, we wrap up the show by answering another listener’s question about proper layering and make our picks for our favorite pieces of gear for the week.
