As you may or may not know, Cape Town, South Africa is in the midst of a terrible water crisis. The city is running low on fresh water and its citizens are on strict rations. I know many people have asked how this happened and this beautiful – yet sobering – video does as good a job as any in explaining the situation. I’d urge anyone to watch this and think about the implications to your own city, because chances are we could see more of this in the years ahead.
