If you follow the sport of ultrarunning you’ve no doubt already heard of Dean Karnazes, one of the more successful long distance runners from the sport. But if you’re not familiar with Dean, then this video will serve as a good introduction to a man who lives to run. So much so that on most days he runs a marathon before breakfast and an additional 10-12 miles (16-19 km) later int he day. In the clip, Dean shares his training regimen, his approach to running, and much more. I won’t be going as far as he does when I go on my run later in the day, but I’ll be thinking about this clip nonetheless.
