As we drop the curtain on another week here at The Adventure Blog, I’m preparing to leave town tomorrow to attend the semi-annual Outdoor Retailer gear convention in Denver. The show gets underway on Monday and runs through Thursday, with the top companies in the outdoor industry unveiling their latest and created products.
As usual, while at the show I’ll be trying to share some of the new things that I find there on social media. You’ll be able to catch a glimpse of some of the products I’ll be seeing there on my Twitter and Facebook page, so if you’re interested in the latest equipment coming later this year and early next, be sure to follow those outlets. Also, my podcast co-host Dave Adlard and I will be sharing some items on The Adventure Podcast Facebook page too. The convention is a busy one, but we’ll try to post as regularly as we can.
While away, I’m generally out of the loop on things that are happening outside the convention hall, but if anything major does take place, I’ll try to post an update when I can. With summit season underway on K2, the Tour de France still unfolding, and other things happening, there are likely stories to be told. If a significant story breaks, I’ll try to find time to share. Otherwise, I’ll be back next Friday with regular updates –– and most likely news from OR –– to share.
