A few days back we shared the story of mountaineer Rick Allen, who went missing on Broad Peak and was believed to have died on the mountain. Later, the British climber was located by a drone pilot, who helped rescuers find the missing man and help him get safely down the mountain. The clip below is video footage shot by that drone with some dramatic images. As I said at the time, this is another indicator of the usefulness of drones for things other than filmmaking.
