As mentioned in my update from the Karakoram posted earlier today, Polish mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel made the first full ski descent of K2 last weekend in Pakistan. If you’ve ever wondered what it is like to climb and ski down an 8000-meter peak, this video will help put it into perspective. This is wild, inspiring, scary stuff, as K2 is one of the toughest mountains on the planet. The footage captured here is simply amazing, putting this hugely impressive achievement in perspective. Wow!
