Growing up in Kathmandu, Rajesh (RJ) Magar learned to ride a beat-up old bike on the streets of that chaotic and wild city, soon falling in love with the freedom and fun that the bike provided. But over time, he also started to hone his skills, becoming one of the best riders in his country and becoming a four-time national champion mountain biker before he turned 21. This short documentary tells his amazing story, which isn’t just about riding a bike but also chasing your dreams along the way too. This is the kind of short film that I watch and think “I wish I had made that.” It is gorgeous to look at while also managing to be incredibly inspiring at the same time.
