The Rose-Red City of Petra is a stunning monument located in a remote region of the county of Jordan. It is an incredibly famous place, finding its way into movies and television shows with regularity. But, if you think you’ve seen everything that Petra has to offer, but haven’t actually visited it yourself, you’re in for a massive surprise. The city is truly sprawling, spreading out across a rocky canyon. It’s most famous structure –– known as “the Treasury” –– is just the entrance to this amazing place, and there are other areas that are equally as impressive.
