Adventure Podcast Episode 31
We’re back with another episode of The Adventure Podcast this week, bringing you all the latest adventure news, gear reviews, and a brand new edition of our “adventure badass” segment.
This week, we examine the life and times of none other than Reinhold Messner, the greatest mountaineer of all time as far as I’m concerned. We take a look at Messner’s amazing career, including some of the biggest and most important firsts in climbing history. There is no doubt that he deserve the moniker of “adventure badass.”
In our news segment, we take a look at some of the top stories from the past week, including the finally tally on the number of summits of Everest this past spring, a new insurance scam that is hitting trekkers in Nepal, and a female endurance athlete who is attempting 50 Ironman triathlons in 50 days. As usual, we wrap things up with some thoughts on the latest gear we’ve been using, including a great case for the iPhone X and some Black Diamond equipment.
I’ve embedded the latest episode in the post below for those who want to listen from their browser. You can also subscribe to the show on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, and Spotify. You’ll also find us on Facebook and Twitter, and you can send comments, questions, and feedback to our email address too.
