The Best Adventure Podcasts on the Internet

Over the past few years I’ve become a huge fan of podcasts. In fact, I listen to them far more than I listen to music while I’m out for a run, driving in my car, or traveling. I like podcasts so much that I even started my own, which of course falls into the “adventure” category. I’ve been doing the podcast with my co-host David Adlard for a little over a year now, but we really got going at the start of 2018. Now, we’re 45 total episodes in and having a great time. So imagine our surprise when yesterday we saw that we not only made the cut for the top 15 adventure podcasts, but that we actually came in first.

The list was complied by a website called Feedspot, which is a site designed to help marketers and content creators to connect with one another to get more exposure. Feedspot has compiled similar lists to this one in the past and I’m pretty sure The Adventure Blog has even made the cut a time or two. Having our companions podcast get some recognition was a nice surprise however.

Some of the other notable podcasts that made the list include the Dirtbag Diaries, which are well known in the outdoor space, and The Adventure Sports Podcast, which focuses on trail running, adventure racing, and so on. We’re joined by The First 40 Miles Podcast, which is aimed at backpackers, as well as the She Explores, which is an excellent show aimed at adventurers women.

I’ll eave the other podcasts on the list for you to discover and needless to say, I’ve got a few new ones to check out myself. Speaking for Dave and myself, I can say we’re honored to be listed with the others here and we’re hoping to continue to bring good content to listeners for a long time to come. Thanks to Feedspot for including us and thanks to everyone who has been listening over the past few months.
