We’ve seen a few really impressive night skiing videos in the past, but few are as strikingly beautiful as this one. In this clip, we head to the slopes to follow lone freeskier Sam Anthamatten as he travels down the mountain being chased by a glowing red light as he goes. This provides an eerie, otherworldly look that needs to be seen to be believed.
Filmmaker Nico Vuignier says he’ll reveal how he made the film in a behind the scenes video that will be released soon. My guess? A brightly lit drone outfitted with as special red light. However he did it, the effect is incredibly striking.
