This past weekend, pro skier Lindsey Vonn –– who many feel is the greatest female skier of all time –– raced in her final event, taking a bronze medal at the world championships in the downhill held in Are, Sweden. That event brought an end to a historic and amazing career, which the video above helps to put a little context to. Vonn raced like no else before her and set the stage for some amazing female athletes that have followed. As she skies off into the sunset, she leaves behind a legacy that will be tough to top, not to mention a personality that will be impossible to match. She will most definitely be missed.
