For cycling fans who are watching the 2019 season unfold things just haven’t been the same. This will be especially true when the Tour de France gets underway in July. That’s because former pro cycler and broadcasting legend Paul Sherwen passed away in December and we’re still reeling from that revelation. For years, Sherwen was a calming voice for Le Tour and other great races, offering fantastic insights into what was happening on the road. Beyond that however, he was a gentleman in the grandest sense of the word, touching the lives of millions through cycling and his charitable works. This video is a salute to Paul and his life in the sport. There will never be another one like him and he is definitely missed.
