I won’t even pretend to understand the appeal of slacklining, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t appreciate the athletic ability required for the sport. This video takes us into the world of extreme free solo slacklining, which much like free solo climbing, means going at it without a safety device or rope. In this short documentary, you’ll not only get inside the minds of the men and women who push the limit of slacklining, you’ll get some amazing shots of them plying their trade. As for me, I’m happy to admire them from afar as any slackline I attempt won’t be more than a few feet off the ground.
