I’m about to head off to New Orleans for a few days of rest and relaxation with friends and family, but before I go I wanted to share this amazing video. It takes us to the Pacific Crest Trail with Iraq War veteran Brandon Kuehn, who finds solace and relief walking alone in the wilderness. We all know that being outside and immersed in nature is good for our health, both physically and mentally. But when you suffer from PTSD, it can be one of the few ways to truly find peace as well. If you’ve ever thought that trail therapy was just a funny excuse to go for a walk in the woods, you’ll come away with a different opinion after watching this.
