Earth Day may have been yesterday, but that isn’t going to stop me from sharing this video. It was sent our way courtesy of polar explorer Eric Larsen and it features some great footage from his many adventures to far flung corners of the globe, mixed in with a powerful message about protecting our planet. That is a message that needs to be heard all year long, not just one day of the year. By the way, the poem used in the clip is none other than “The Call of the Wild” by Robert William Service, which has served as inspiration for many outdoor adventures since it was first written more than 120 years ago. Those words are extremely fitting and moving even to this day.
