One of the more high-profile expeditions to Everest this spring is that of Cory Richards and Topo Mena. The two men are attempting the first new route on the mountain in more than a decade, which is of course drawing plenty of attention. Along the way, the’ll also be sharing some videos of their experience, which begins not on the mountain itself, but back home preparing for the challenges ahead. In this video –– the second of the series –– we get insights into that process directly from Cory himself, who is preparing for his epic journey to Everest.
