Normally I post a blog story announcing the latest episode of The Adventure Podcast on Wednesday, but I’m leaving early tomorrow morning for Mexico so I thought I’d share it today instead. That means I’ll be gone the rest of the week, and will likely only have a smattering of updates over the next few days. But I’ll be keeping an eye what i happening on Everest and sharing news on the progress there when I can.
On this week’s episode of the podcast we had so much to talk about in terms of adventure news that we didn’t even bother with our usual main topic. There were big stories to share from all over the world, with updates from the Himalaya, Fedor Konyukhov finishing his Southern Ocean row, and ultrarunners completing epic undertakings. There was also a Frenchman who crossed the Atlantic in a barrel, the start of the Giro d’Italia, and much much more. Trust me, it’s a full episode, even without a big topic to delve into. We also round things out with a couple of gear reviews too. I share my thoughts on the Pakems Chamonix travel shoes, while my co-host Dave Adlard chimes in with a review of the active blue jeans from Boulder Denim.
As usual, you can listen to the show using the embedded player below or you can subscribe to it via Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Sticher, and Spotify. By subscribing, you’ll be automatically notified each week when a new show becomes available. You can also reach out to us through our Facebook page, Twitter, or email at any time, as we love hearing from listeners. As always, thanks so much for giving the show a chance. We hope you like what you hear.
