This video takes us beneath the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea to explore a shipwreck in dramatic fashion. The Montana was one of the last blockade runners during the American Civil War, and was sent to the bottom of the ocean back in 1863. Now, it has become a popular dive location and a spot for researchers to study the growth of coral and other aquatic ocean life. We get to tag along on one such dive, viewing the Montana in this 180º video, which gives us the ability to pan around a bit as the divers make their way through the wreckage. It’s a pretty interesting use of new camera technology and a great way to visit a wreck that most of us will never get the chance to see first hand.
