Video: DJI Introduces Osmo Action Camera

Last week, while I was off the grid in Mexico, drone maker DJI announced that it had created a new action camera to challenge the likes of GoPro. Dubbed the Osmo Action, the new device has all the features you would expect from a modern action cam, as well as few tricks you may not have seen coming. For instance, along with offering 4k resolutions at 60 frames per second, the camera is waterproof down to 11 meters (36 feet), has built in stabilization, and HDR video. It also features a touchscreen on the back for interacting with its functions and a second screen on the front for use in selfie videos. Heck, it even comes with voice controls, all for just $349. How does it hold up compared to a GoPro Hero 7? We’ll just have to wait until more reviewers have had a chance to play with it, but as you’ll seen in the clip above, the new camera looks promising.
