In a few short days the climbing teams on Everest’s South Side will begin heading up to get into position for potential summit bids. In order to do that, they’ll have to leave Base Camp, pass through the Khumbu Icefall, and make their way up the Lhotse Face. This video gives us a sense of what that trek is like as the climbers move up to higher altitudes on the world’s tallest mountain. As you would expect, it’s not an easy walk in the park, but the views are spectacular.
