One of the most unique and challenging adventure races on the planet is currently underway in Europe. That’s where the 2019 Red Bull X-Alps is taking place, with 32 athletes racing nonstop from Salzburg, Austria to Monaco on the Mediterranean. To get there, they’ll have to trail run and paraglide across a tough course that stretches for more than 1100 km (683 miles). To understand what this event is all about, and how it unfolds, take a look at the video above.
