Video: Running the Kungsleden Trail in Sweden with Emelie Forsberg

In 2018, mountain runner Emelie Forsberg returned to her home country of Sweden to take on one of the more challenging trails in the world. She hoped to set a new fastest known time on the Kungsleden Trail, a 450 km (280 mile) hiking route that typically takes backpackers about 15 days to complete. Emelie managed to do it in just 4 days, 21 hours, setting a new speed record in the process. In this video, we get to tag along for the ride watching not only a finely tuned athlete at the top of her game, but some stunning scenery as well. If you’ve ever wondered what one of these long-distance challenges is like, this video will definitely provide some insights.
