The Adventure Podcast Episode 68: Adventure Badass Kilian Jornet

The latest episode of The Adventure Podcast is now available for your listening pleasure. This week, we induct another very-worthy candidate into our growing pantheon of “Adventure Badasses”, this time adding mountain athlete Kilian Jornet to the list. My co-host Dave Adlard and I spend some time introducing listeners to Kilian, sharing bits of his story, and laying down the case as to why he’s not only worthy of being called an adventure badass, but just might be the greatest athlete in the world today.

Before we get to that topic however, we first catch listeners up on the latest Adventure News. In this segment, we talk about what’s going on in the summer climbing season in Pakistan, take a look at the early happenings in the Tour de France, and share the story of an epic polar journey undertaken by an Arctic fox. Later, we both review a couple of pieces of gear, with Dave sharing some thoughts on a Big Agnes sleeping bag for kids, while I compare a couple of solar panels for use in the outdoors.

As usual, you can listen to the show in the embedded player found below. Better yet, you can also download the podcast and subscribe to our feed on  Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Sticher, and Spotify.
