Earlier this week, trail runner and endurance athlete Yassine Diboun set a new speed record for running the 32-mile Loowit Trail, which circles the iconic mountain. As you’ll see in the clip above, Diboun managed to complete that run in 5 hours, 59 minutes, and 16 seconds, which is good enough to beat the previous record –– set by Max Ferguson in 2012 –– by just 42 seconds. The video of the “FKT” attempt is both inspiring and beautiful.
