After showing us how to properly coil a climbing rope and tie into said rope, REI returns with yet another “how to” video today, this time demonstrating how to put on a climbing harness. This may seem like a simple, basic part of climbing –– and truthfully it is –– but for someone just getting started in the sport, getting a few tips on using the gear can make all of the difference. It’s all about being safe and secure while on the wall and these videos have done a good job of helping push that message.
