This past spring, the world was shocked to see the long line of climbers waiting for their turn to go up to the summit of Everest. What’s it like to stand in that line, (not so-) patiently waiting for your turn? This video, which comes our way courtesy of the BBC, provides some insights into that experience from some of the alpinists who have been on the world’s highest peak. As you can imagine, it isn’t the most hospitable place to have to queue up for extended periods of time.
