The Adventure Podcast Episode 72: Talking Adventure Travel with Trish Sare of BikeHike Adventures

On this week’s episode of The Adventure Podcast we welcome Trish Sare of BikeHike Adventures. For more than 25 years Trish’s company has been taking adventure travelers to the far corners of the globe and during that time she’s seen the travel industry grow and evolve in some unique ways. We talk about those topics, and so much more as we learn about the origins of BikeHike, what motivated Trish to begin traveling in the first place, and where she sees adventure travel heading in the future.

Before we jump into that interview however, my co-host Dave Adlard and I spend some time catching listeners up on the latest adventure news. Topics include a major new climbing route on Gasherbrum II, the winners of the 2019 Pilots d’Or awards, and a climate activist who reducing emissions by sailing to her upcoming climate conferences. Later, we wrap the show up with a few gear reviews, as Dave share’s his thoughts on the new Pocket Blanket from Matador, while I test a new pair of hiking shoes from Lowa.
