Over that time period, Larcher has emerged on the climbing scene, shifting form a good trad climber to a versatile and strong all-around athlete. His place amongst the best climbers on the planet is secured with his free ascent of Tribe, a route that is considered to be one of the toughest in the world. So much so, that Larcher declined to give a grade to his performance, preferring to let his climb speak for itself.
