After another break The Adventure Podcast returns at long last with a new episode. While we were away, a lot has gone down in the world of outdoor adventure and exploration. So much so in fact that my cohost Dave Adlard and I decided to forgo our regular format, which typically includes a main topic of some sort, in order to concentrate on all of the stories instead. As a result, we have a jam-packed episode that includes updates on the fall climbing season in the Himalaya, new challenges for Nims Purja, follow-ups to several stories we’ve talked about in the past, and a crazy marijuana raid at the Vuelta a Espana in Spain.
Despite the fact that we don’t have a main topic this week, we still offer our usual gear reviews. I share my thoughts on the new Pacsafe Vibe 25L Econyl backpack that uses 100% recycled materials, while Dave offers up his expert opinion on the Rhythm t-shirt from Black Diamond and the Marmot Aerobora shirt as well.
As is typical, you’ll find the show embedded into this blog post below, or you can listen on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Sticher, and Spotify. You can also subscribe to us through those services as well so you never miss an episode.Comments, questions, suggestions, and other feedback can be sent or way via our social media outlets.
