While the attention of much of the adventure racing world has been turned on Eco-Challenge Fiji 2019 this past couple of weeks, there have been some amazing races taking place elsewhere around the globe, including Adventure Race Croatia. Despite heavy competition from Mark Burnett and company, the ARC – which is a part of the Adventure Racing World Series – managed to draw an impressive number of teams and athletes. In fact, it hosted 41 teams from 20 countries and four continents. Of course, if you take a look at the video below you’ll quickly understand why. Croatia is the perfect location to host a race of this caliber, with stunning landscapes and challenge disciplines to say the least. This looks like it was a fantastic event all around. Congrats to the race organizers for putting together such a great race despite the competition.
