Most of the wingsuit/proximity flying videos that we come across are filmed in the Alps, often not far from the town of Chamonix in France. But this one, which is every bit as adrenaline-inducing as the others we’ve seen, was shot outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. It features wingsuit pilot Hartman Rector as he goes barreling through some tight, twisty canyons at very high speed. This clip is a good reminder of why I like to watch these kinds of videos, but not actually take part in the activity. More power to Hartman, but I’ll just sit back safely at my computer and watch his escapes from afar.
