I’m about to head off to the country of Jordan for a week, but before I start my next big adventure, I thought I’d share some photos from my recent trip to Africa. In August, my wife and I traveled to Tanzania to celebrate a milestone birthday. While there, we spent some time on the Serengeti and visiting the Ngorongoro Crater, two amazing places to spot wildlife. The photos above were taken while on that trip and give you a taste of what it is like to visit this amazing part of the world. In the end, we took more than 800 photos between the two of us, so whittling it down to just a few was a challenge. Still, there are some of our favorites and truly capture the spirit of the trip, which also included a few days on Zanzibar relaxing after our Serengeti experience.
I want to thank my friends at Tanzania Expeditions for helping us organize the trip. If you’re interested in doing a safari of your own, I can’t recommend this company highly enough. They handled all of the details, helped us craft the perfect itinerary, and provided a fantastic experience at every stage of the trip. The accommodations, guides, vehicles, and all elements of the safari and Zanzibar visit were top notch.
I hope you enjoy the photos.

Great shots Kraig .You were lucky to see the leopards. A trip to cherish.
Yes, we were super lucky to see several leopards. Very elusive in the wild. We also so our fair share of lions as well, which was wonderful. It was a great trip. I always enjoy a visit to East Africa.
