If there was ever any question that DJI is the undisputed leader in the photo and filmmaking space, then we can put those doubts to rest. Today, the company revealed its latest creation, which comes in the form of the Mavic Mini. Clocking in at just 249 grams (8.78 ounces), the Mini lives up to its name, making it small enough to carry with you anywhere. Despite its diminutive size however, it isnβt short on features, boating a flight time of up to 30 minutes, a 4km (2.5 mile) range, and a suite of GPS sensors to aid in flight and navigation. It is of course compatible with the DJI app, shoots 2.7k video, and is preprogrammed with a number of flight options. If you want to see it in action, check out the video above. Itβs a pretty impressive piece of technology for those who donβt want, or need, a full sized drone. Plus, it sells for just $399.
