Video: Is The Audi AI: Trail Quattro the Future of Adventure Vehicles?

A few weeks back there was a lot of excitement in the adventure and overlanding world around the reveal of the new Land Rover Defender. At about the same time, Audi showed off a new concept vehicle that is also quite intriguing, although it does look like something out of a sci-fi movie. While just a concept at the moment, the Audi AI: Trail Quattro has lots of unique and interesting features, including four electric motors, removal seats that convert to hammocks, headlights that double as drones, a high-tech cockpit, and more. While it seems very unlikely that this model will ever become available, the video above may give us a glimpse of the future of adventure vehicles, which promise to be both good for the environment and better equipped to handle remote places.
