Every two years an amazing and grueling adventure race takes place in the mountains of Europe. It’s the Red Bull X-Alps and if you’re not already familiar with it, it is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. This video is the full documentary of the 2019 edition of the race, taking us inside one of the most challenging athletic events you’re likely to see. In a nutshell, the goal is for racers to travel for Salzburg to Monaco on foot and by paraglider, remaining self-supported along the way. This means trail running and climbing mountains for the chance to glide through the air, with every mile up, and back down, sorely earned.
