The news coming out of Africa in terms of wildlife conservation tents to be on the depressing side. But if you’re looking for a success story, check out this video from National Geographic. It shows how the wildlife — which was once all but gone — is returning to the Majete Wildlife Reserve in Malawi. This is an incredibly special place that I had the chance to visit myself last year. It was amazing to hear the story of how these creatures are bouncing back and how the outlook for the future is so promising. On a side note, Malawi is a hidden gem in Africa, and this video only hints at why it is so special. Add it to your travel list!
