The Adventure Podcast Episode 89: The Top Adventures for 2020

After taking a hiatus for the holidays, The Adventure Podcast returns this week with our first episode of 2020. The topic of discussion is the big adventures that we’re most looking forward to in the year ahead, with my co-host Dave Adlard and I discussing the expeditions, individuals, and perusal journeys we can’t wait to follow this year. Those include a wide variety of things, including big climbs on the world’s highest peaks, outstanding efforts from some of our favorite athletes, and the return of one of the biggest endurance events of all time — the Eco-Challenge.

Before we jump into that topic however, we first get everyone caught up on some of the big expeditions we were following at the end of the year, including the news that Mike Horn and Borge Ousland have finally escaped the Arctic. We also get caught up with Colin O’Brady’s Impossible Row, what’s happening in the Antarctica, and the latest news from the winter expedition to K2. Later, Dave and I share some gear items that we’ve been testing recently, including a pair of ski goggles from Quiksilver and my new favorite layer, the Arc’Teryx Stryka Hoody.

You can listen to the entire show from your web browser using the embedded player below. Better yet, you can subscribe to the podcast via Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Sticher, and Spotify and download it automatically each week directly to your favorite device. You can also post a review to each of those outlets as well, or share your feedback directly with Dave and I on Facebook, Twitter, or email. We always appreciate hearing from listeners, fielding questions, and offering advice.

As we say each and every week, thanks for listening! We appreciate you tuning in to see what we have to say.
