Chile’s Atacama Desert is one of my favorite places that I’ve ever gotten the chance to visit. It is the driest place on the planet, which when combined with its altitude, makes it one of the best places to catch the night sky. This mesmerizing clip takes us to that place to give viewers a tiny glimpse of what it is like in person. Nothing can truly prepare you for the real thing, but this five-minute timelapse video comes about as close as I’ve seen. Enjoy!
