Over the past year and a half I have become incredibly excited about the possibilities that the Rivian electric vehicles bring to outdoor enthusiasts. I was fortunate enough to be one of the first people outside the company to see Rivian’s electric pick-up truck first hand and I’ve been following their progress closely ever since.
Today, the company launched a series of YouTube videos that will follow its story from start-up to the first trucks and SUVs rolling off the line. Those vehicles are set to begin shipping later this year, and they should be very exciting products not just because they are electric, but because they were built from the ground, up for adventure.
In this video, the first of the series, we get an introduction to Rivian, how and why it got started, and what we can expect from them in the weeks ahead.
