VIDEO: CLIMBING IN TAHOE WITH ALEX HONNOLD AND RIVIAN

One of the reasons that electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian is so intent on getting its adventure-focused truck and SUV to the market is to deliver a cleaner, more eco-friendly driving experience. Rock climber Alex Honnold shares that vision, which is why the company has made him its one and only brand ambassador. In this video, Honnold travels to Tahoe to go climbing, with a Rivian R1T pick-up truck along for the adventure.

The result is this intriguing video, which gives us a look at Alex doing what he does best—climbing slabs of granite of course—as well as the amazing truck in action. It’s unfortunate that the coronavirus has caused a delay in the release of the vehicles, but having seen them in person myself, I can tell you that they’ll be worth the wait. In the meantime, check out the clip to get a sense of the company’s values and focus.
