How to Run Properly: If you’re looking to improve your fitness and add exercise to your routine, taking up running is one of the best options. It is easy to get started, it burns a lot of a calories, and it is great for the heart and lungs. It also happens to be something you can do outside and away from others during this time of social distancing.
That said, there is a difference between running and running properly and learning the correct form can make a world of difference. This video helps break down the mechanics of running and show you how to maintain good form.
This not only helps you to be more efficient, but avoid injury as well. Even experienced, veteran runners can pick up a tip or two here, as it is a good reminder to those of us who have been running for years that our own forms may have gotten a bit sloppy.

Thanks for a nice accessible breakdown.
As a pednat with a penchant for running biomechanics I always have issues with people saying to land under yuour hips/center of mass/body…because it is impossible and never ever happens. Foot strike will always be in front of any and all of those three targets, but as long as the foot is under the knee (shin angle close to vertical) then everything should be fine.
Used a a coaching tool or as a drill to try to control overstriding it can be a useful image, but actualy trying to run like that is impossible.
