The combination of the dry desert air and a lack of light pollution has made certain regions of Chile the best places in the world to observe the night sky. In this video, we travel to that part of the world to take in some stunning shots of the heavens, which include fantastic astrolapses of the sky overhead. Some of the images were taken during a solar eclipse, while most were shot during a typical clear night. All are gorgeous and worth sharing. Sit back and enjoy this six-minute video, in 4K if you have it.
