Runner Ricky Gates likes to come up with unique challenges and ideas, then see if he can pull them off. One of those ideas was to recruit 24 other runners, load them up on a big bus, and take off across parts of the Western U.S. Along the way, the group would explore some iconic places, like Yosemite, Zion, and the Grand Canyon. Of course, there would be plenty of running involved too. Lots and lots of running in fact, as the team spent 7 days and 6 nights, beginning and ending in San Francisco. As you’ll see, the trip was filled with humor, fun, and some great scenery along the way too. As road trips go, this one doesn’t look too bad at all. Hopefully soon, we can all get back to these kinds of adventures.
