Creating new mountain biking trails in the U.S. can be a logistical challenge requiring permits, local governmental approval, and overcoming objections from non-riders. But those are all minor hassles compared to doing the same job in Japan.
Nevertheless, mountain biker Ryo Hazuma has made it his mission to continue to build new trails when and where he can, creating routes not only for himself but for others to ride too. In this beautiful video, we get to Ryo and see his work, while also getting a brief introduction to MTB culture in his home country.
