If you’re looking to get in better shape, or start to take off those “pandemic pounds,” why not start a running routine? At the moment, we al have a little extra time on our hands and filling the time with exercise isn’t a bad way to wait out our time in isolation. One of the best workouts if of course going for a run, which you can do indoors or outdoors depending on your preference. Getting started with running can be a bit intimidating and overwhelming at times though, taking something that we all know how to do and turning it into something more complex than it really is. If you’re ready to take up running, my advice is to get a good pair of shoes, take it slow, and just relax. I’d also advise watching this video, which has some great tips for beginners who are just getting started.
