Union Glacier Camp in Antarctica
If you’ve ever followed any Antarctic expeditions, you’ve probably heard about the Union Glacier camp that is found there. The camp is operated by ALE, which handles all of the logistics and travel for the vast majority of people coming and going from the continent itself.
Most of that traffic passes through the camp, which is a mini-tent city that is an impressive site in its own right. This video takes us to Antarctica to visit Union Glacier for ourselves, touring the place that so many adventurers pass through on their way to Mt. Vinson, the South Pole, and other locations.
