At a time when the need for inspiration and understanding might be at an all-time high, this video comes our way from the folks at Merrell. It features a transgender woman by the name of Erin Parisi who is attempting to climb the Seven Summits. If she’s successful, she’ll become the first trans person to achieve that feat. But, her even bigger goal is to promote awareness and understanding, which probably seems like an even bigger mountain to climb. The outdoor community hasn’t always been very inclusive, but thanks to people like Erin, that is starting to change for the better.
